Collaborating for impact

As a global leader in regenerative medicine, the Australian Regenerative Medicine Institute (ARMI) regularly engages with industry through networks, conferences and strategic partnerships. ARMI also educates industry’s future workforce by administering and coordinating the Master of Biotechnology degree at Monash University.

Industry engagement is key to our success and industry partners are critical to the commercialisation and translation of ARMI’s high-quality research in regenerative medicine. Several research groups within the Institute collaborate with industry (see Our Research to learn more).

Located in the heart of the Monash Health Technology Precinct, ARMI is positioned within a strategically connected hub where globally connected change-makers, innovators and enterprise converge. ARMI co-founded CCRM Australia in 2016 to support translation and commercialisation of regenerative medicine in Australia.

ARMI is an enterprise member of the peak bodies with strong industry links including AusBiotech, BioMelbourne Network and the Association of Australian Medical Research Institutes (AAMRI). These memberships provide our staff and students access to influential networks across the value chain.

In 2026, ARMI is also an Associate Partner of the Solutions for Manufacturing Advanced Regenerative Therapies (SMART) Cooperative Research Centre (CRC). Funded for ten years, the SMART CRC is a national centre for advancing regenerative therapy research, development and manufacturing, and is supported by Australian and multinational biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, Australian research organisations and health services, as well as the Australian Government through the CRC program.
