ARMI provides expert strategic advice to government, industry and the broader sector. Participating in consultations that impact Australia’s regenerative medicine ecosystem is one way we influence public policy and advocate on behalf of the Institute and our leaders in research and innovation. Through submissions to government, regular engagement with industry and explainers for policymakers and the public, we actively share our expertise and thought leadership in regenerative medicine to make a difference for 8.5 million Australians.

Research Strategy 

ARMI contributes evidence and analysis to national reviews that shape how Australia’s research system is structured, funded and prioritised. These submissions advocate for regenerative medicine’s place within that architecture, drawing on ARMI’s position as Australia’s only institute dedicated to the field. 

Investment and Funding Policy 

Government spending decisions and tax settings determine what research is funded and which therapies reach patients. ARMI advocates for policy settings that support translation from laboratory to market, including the tax treatment of early-stage capital and the priorities set in each federal budget.
