Biography
After graduating in Cell biology and Physiology from Denis Diderot University (Paris, France) and a master in Neuropharmcology at the Ecole Normale Superieure de Paris in 2004, she did her PhD in the Neurones Glia Interaction (directed by Dr Zalc) at the Salpetriere Hospital in Paris.
This study showed the role of a lymphangiogenic growth factor in promoting the survival, proliferation and migration of subpopulation of neural progenitors scattered through out the embryonic brain of both chicken and mouse.
She joined the Bourne group in 2008 where she now is interested in understanding the mechanisms controlling the migration of cortical neurons in specific cortical areas during the development of the visual cortex.
